Conditions for adding comments
What is the purpose of comments on this website?
The purpose of the comments is to share experience with phone numbers both annoying (mainly telemarketing, surveys) and useful (e.g. couriers, authorities). Their purpose is not, however, to comment on phone numbers of natural persons.
Who can add comments to phone numbers?
Comments can be added by users over 16 years of age. They must, however, follow the Rules for writing comments.
How do we handle comments?
We reserve the right to delete or edit comments, primarily in order to increase the quality of the content. The most common reason for editing or deleting a comment is a violation of the Rules for writing comments.
Inappropriate comments are searched for in three ways:
- by automated processes – we keep improving our system detecting comments that might violate our Rules for writing comments,
- by checking comments randomly,
- by getting feedback from our website users who report suspicious comments.
Rules for writing comments
The comments published on the website express the opinions of their users, not the operator who is not responsible for their content. Yet we do not want to give platform to vulgarisms, insults and other kinds of inappropriate content. We try to keep the forum to the point and civilized.
We will not tolerate incitement to hatred towards individuals or groups of people, especially based on nationality, race or religion. Vulgar or obscene posts will be deleted.
It is also forbidden to misuse the opinion forum to spread advertisement and spam, as well as to publish posts or links not relevant to the topic.
Posting identical comments, i.e. flooding, is not allowed either. Chatting and posing as somebody else is also forbidden.
The author of a comment undertakes not to publish a comment which:
- contains profanities or is hateful towards another person,
- attacks or targets an ethnic group, race, nationality or religious group,
- is homophobic, transphobic, sexist, offensive or obscene,
- is abetting,
- is illegal,
- contains spam or is duplicate,
- links to a suspicious website or a website irrelevant to the discussion topic,
- violates copyright or trademark,
- is propagandistic or political,
- can be considered a hoax,
- is written in a foreign language,
- contains personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In case of violation of these conditions, we reserve the right to prevent a given user from adding comments or accessing the site altogether.

How can I report an inappropriate comment?
What should I do if I want to delete a comment on a phone number?
In case a comment contains derogatory language or claims that can generally be regarded as lies, inform us via email at call-reverse-lookup.com@ or by mail at our address:
P.O.Box 272Kurzova 2222/16
155 00 Prague
Czech Republic
In case it is obvious that a given comment is not true or is derogatory, it will be removed. In other cases, contact the police who have to investigate whether the comments are illegal. The forum operator will fully cooperate in such an investigation. As soon as the police or a court confirms their illegality, we will be able to remove the comments.
The comment has been deleted but it is still on Google. Why?
Can you give me the IP address or some information on the author of the comment?
Adding comments does not require a registration. Comments are added by the site visitors completely anonymously – we do not require a name or an email address.
We do not save readable IP addresses of posters either, only encrypted. We are, therefore, able to determine that for instance two comments were sent from the same device, but we are unable to provide a readable IP address.
Who is responsible for the content of the posts?
