Pay day loan scam. Same company with recorded message calls from multiple numbers from this area code and they come up as unknown numbers and as US cell phone. I have followed the prompt to be taken off the list several times and it starts the recording over again. I have blocked the numbers they call from and they call back from a different number, as if they just go get a throw away cell and run their call list through a new number. I am in the do not call list, but that has not helped at all.

The National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB) is warning the public to be vigilant of scam calls that appear to be coming from numbers similar to their own. Commonly, the first seven digits (07nnnnn) match the victim’s own number.
