Is the forum moderated?
The discussion on phone numbers is partly moderated. The forum gets thousands of new posts daily, so it is not possible to check every single comment. Therefore we pay attention mostly to suspicious and reported comments.
A new report from Seattle startup Hiya highlights the ongoing problem of phone fraud and spam calls. The report found that during the first quarter of this year, nearly 25% of all unknown calls globally were flagged as spam or fraud — that’s 73.6 million per day.
The deluge of daily email at work has become such a mundane part of professional life that it’s no longer fun to complain about. Try bringing it up with a colleague and they’ll barely hear you, so immersed are they in trying to obliterate an endless stream of spam.

This number called me at about one in the morning when I was sleeping, he told me that I hadn't paid for something and that there was something wrong with my card... but I didn't do anything with it, and so he keeps calling me about the card and he's really gotten on my nerves with this...
